I heard this riddle from school. I don't know how old it is, but its new to me. Also I'm going to make backstory since they're to short.

" You & 4 friends was coming over to your other friend's apartment for a party. This was strange to you all since he wasn't really the party type. In fact, he was on suicide watch list. College can do that to some people. Everyone reach there & you rung the doorbell. No answer. Someone else try to open the door. It seem it was locked from the inside. You ring it 3 more times, none getting a response. Everyone starts to panic. You'll never know what people do behind close doors. 2 of your bulky friends knock it down & everybody rush in. The room was huge, but it had no furniture in it. The only things in the room was a light switch, a light shade on the ceiling, & your friend hanging under it with a rope around his neck. Few of your buddies cried, others called for help. You just stood there. The hung man's face was a deep blue, so he probably did this hours a go. It was odd. No furniture, door lock from the inside, & he was just hanging there with no chair or anything. Also it was to high for anyone to jump up. So...How did he do it?"

A little dark & wordy, but how did he do it? I'll tell you how close or off you are.
